Nineveh FC is an Amateur Football Club based in Handsworth area of Birmingham. Our players do not receive any form of payment, but they None they all contribute towards the subscriptions the administration and the running of the football club.
As the Latin phrase Mens sana in corpore sano which translates as a "healthy mind in a healthy body". At Nineveh Football Club we believe that a every person is healthier when they are occupied both intellectually and physically. Our team is very diverse and we welcome people from all backgrounds and make them enjoy football and respect each other on and off the pitch .
Our vision is to have a football team that can strive and each individual has the opportunity to fulfil their dream of playing football to the highest possible standard.

The Birmingham County FA Cup was competed for by fourteen (14) teams. Nineveh FC won all its games enroute to the finals. The finals between Nineveh FC and Naija was played on Friday, the 5th May 2017 at the Birmingham City Football grounds known as St Andrews Stadium.
It was attended by dignitaries from the Birmingham County FA, prominent and distinguished personalities from the Gambian Community.
Nineveh FC joined the The Birmingham County FA 7s League. Sky is the limit for Nineveh FC, after winning the GRAB annual tournament in 2015, the club has taken another step to climb the ladder in contesting in various leagues in other to announce their presence and talents with the hope of getting themselves in the highest league in the country, starting with the Birmingham County FA 7s League.
Nineveh FC has so far played two games, and has won one and drawn one. The team is very optimistic in winning the league, and the players are very excited in joining this league. Games will be played every Wednesday. They are currently in third place place in the league table with three points behind the leaders.

Manager Ebrima Saidy, said team fitness is quite above the target level. Players had a great pre season and there are no injury worries. We are very much looking forward to this season as we enter a new league where we can display our way of play and our talented players, according to the Mr Saidy.
Nineveh FC has a strong sense of identity in football, having been born as a football club and aiming to develop into a fully fledged organisation catering for the community’s football needs at the grassroots level.
Nineveh FC is therefore developing a structured football programme incorporating both junior and senior levels. It is our objective to create a pathway for local young people to play at the highest standard possible. Through our football we have involved all nationalities within the Birmingham area and beyond.

I have been involved with Nineveh Football Club from the outset and was one of the founding members of the organisation. Nineveh FC is a wonderful initiative that provides people from all backgrounds with a pathway to fulfill their football potential. What I particularly like about Nineveh FC is the way it is aiming to evolve into a highly efficient voluntary football organisation that provides its services throughout Birmingham and beyond.
