Boldmere FC-0 vs Nineveh FC-1

The GRAB Football Tournament took place on the 01st August 2015 at the Castle vale stadium in the west Midlands.  It was a very colourful and excited Tournament , featuring teams from different places and drawn from different backgrounds and ethnicity.

The  first match was between Nineveh Fc vs Lee Henry Fc of Castle Vale, which kicked off at 14:00. The Match started with good display from both teams.

Unfortunately for Nineveh Fc, Lee Henry Fc were the better side during the first 10 minutes of the game, they were comfortable with their passing and movement on and off the ball, and in the 12th minutes Nineveh FC’S Defender Chicko recklessly foul Lee Henry striker in the 18 yard and the referee without hesitation point to the penalty spot, and the ball was masterly converted beyond the reach of Nineveh  the Fc’s tall and agile  goalie Coodler.

 

Lee henry Fc’s goal energised the Nineveh Fc players and they quickly regrouped and devised a different tactics   but despite  the huge pressure and dominance of Niniveh Fc,  the first half half of the match ended with Nineveh Fc a goal down

 

The second half began with Nineveh continuing where they left by piling on the pressure on their opponent, and in the 5th minute of the second half the brilliant and focused coaches of Nineveh Fc  (Janko and Hagi) made a tactical substitution by introducing Another Striker Muhammed, this substantial proved to have worked a miracle, when in the 11 minutes, the substitute  made a wise run onto the far left corner of the six yard and expertly converted a difficult cross from the right corner of the field, sending the fans in a wild jubilation.

At 1 goal  a piece,, both teams worked hard in brilliantly moving the ball with determination and focus and Nineveh Fc were punished with a well taken goal  in the 16th minute of the second half as a result of lapses in the Nineveh defence. The opponents goal added impetus to the game and in the 21st Minute Nineveh Fc was awarded a penalty, and Musa Samajareh stept up and send the goal Keeper the wrong side and the whole Nineveh Fc   breath sign of relief.

In the 21sth minute Nineveh Fc’s Midfield General Yusuph Ceesay collected the ball in the middle of the field and move swiftly through the heart of Lee Henry Defence with a one two combination with Nineveh Fc Skipper Yusupha Saidykan led a through pass to Lamin Sillah, who failed to apply the finishing touch, and the game continued at 2 goal  a piece.

It was in  the 23rd Minutes of the second half, Nineveh FC ‘s Striker Musa Samajareh pull the trigger beyond the helpless Lee Henry Goalie, sending the crowd in wild jubilation. But the delight of Nineveh Fc Players, officials and Fans was nearly short lived if it were not for the heroic display of Nineveh FC goal Keeper Coodler,  who pulled a brilliant save  from the Lee Henry Skipper in the final minute of the game.

Roots FC suffer a thumping defeat against Nineveh FC in a thrilling Friendly match.

 

Nineveh FC will be playing in Birmingham's one day annual tournament against six teams in. The tournament will be held at the castle vale mini stadium, in Birmingham. Please come out and see young talented players in action.
